God’s word is the foundation of every knowledge regarding every and any conceivable truth (I speak such because there are truths beyond human comprehension).
(John 17:17) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
When the Lord Jesus said, “Thy word is truth”, it is remarkable to note that He did not use the definite article ‘the’ but the indefinite ‘is’; the reason?
There are unfathomable truths, and still to be revealed.
(1 Corinthians 2:9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
The paradox is: understandable truth, plain and simple, is not being treasured by a fool.

Statin drugs

Statin cholesterol-lowering drugs are the top selling class of prescription medications and they earn their makers more than $20 billion annually. More
than 25 million prescriptions have been dispensed world-wide, yet heart disease is still the leading cause of death in developed countries.
Contrary to pharmaceutical-inspired propaganda, claims for artifical statins (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) are based on questionable science. These drugs
are far from “safe.” The biggest problem seems to be myopathy, probably caused by depleting the body of Coenzyme Q10 - a vitamin-like substance our bodies
make that is required for energy. The heart has the highest concentration of CoQ10. We know from Merck’s 1990 patents that the statin drugs interfere with
our ability to make CoQ10. We speculate that the recent increase (some would say epidemic) of heart failure and need for heart transplantation is the direct
result of overusing statin drugs.

…but this is not ‘the’ whole truth!
Another truth is (which is more important): That statin drugs, also blocks the production of Coenzyme CoQ10, a vitamin-like substance needed to maintain
the healthy constitution of our muscle tissues, especially the heart.
These are facts, but are being denied to the public, simply because of two (2) possible reasons. Religious leaders do not tell the whole truth about God,
also, because of these two possible reasons:

(Isaiah 56:11) Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every
one for his gain, from his quarter.
Ignorance and love of money are the two most important reasons why religious leaders do not tell the whole truth about God’s teachings. The same happens
to many medical doctors.
(1 Timothy 6:9-10) But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction
and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.
Doctors, both the ignorant and the knowledgeable, are given incentives by drug companies to prescribe their so-called medicines, or better still,
poisons.

Ok, I can't say I'd ever draw the same paralels between religion and the pharmaceudical industry. I'd even have a hard time relating this to Apollon or Asklepios, and they're the gods of health! Still, though, this is very interesting and I agree with the nonreligious parts. I definitely feel that the pharmaceudical companies are huge liers and that there's a conspiracy to hide the truth from most people. Many doctors of synthetic medicine would rather give a patient something that would make them money and keep the patient coming than that would actually heal the person in their care. Granted, not all doctors are like this, and there are probably some unethical doctors in the naturopathic field of medicine as well, but it's more likely with conventional medicine. It's sad, to me, when doctors care more about money than the oath they took. For Hellenic Polytheists, oaths are taken very seriously, and I for one, could never take such a somber oath on Apollon and not keep it.
i agree with the drug companies being crooks and most MD's beeing in the proffession for the money, not to help people. and i agree with those 2 verses that were posted about richness and greed not being a good thing
